What's changing in 2024

The 2024 version of the study on the most used onboard software includes three major changes:

  • Opinions from several hundred readers of the 2023 edition have been taken into account to enhance the descriptions and information on each CMMS software.

  • A new entrant has emerged in the report: Triton Administrator. Triton Administrator is published by GCS (Great Circle System), a company founded by Scott Trend in 1987. They primarily focus on the yachting industry, offering various software and integrated systems for yachts. Their goal is to assist in the construction and operation of yachts over 30 meters in length.

  • Pricing information has been added for each software. Sometimes price ranges are provided, but most market players do not publish their prices online, and we have chosen not to display information when sources were too fragile. Instead, we opted for four essential criteria to provide insights into the economic model of each software:

    • Does the company publish its prices online?

    • Is a free trial available?

    • Is the company transparent about its pricing policy?

    • Are discounts available based on the number of boats or are negotiations possible?

"It's really easy to use the software. I'm won over by this solution at a very reasonable price."
