Arradon in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan
Arradon is located on the coast of the Gulf of Morbihan , 120 km from Rennes and Nantes. This town is bounded to the east by the Vincin river. It borders the towns of Vannes , Ploeren and Baden . A TGV line serves Vannes, thus bringing Paris to just 3 hours by transport.
The town has a sea coast with 15 km of coastline. Arradon is opposite the Ile aux Moines and the Ile d'Arz with which this municipality provides transport. Moreover, the two Logoden islands and the small island of Irus belong to Arradon.
An exceptional environment
Benefiting from a long south-facing shoreline, gently sloping down to indulge in the spectacle of the islands, Arradon is a bit like the Riviera of the Gulf. Its coast is a succession of beautiful residences with terraced parks up to the beach. The smallest cove conceals an oyster farm, and fields often border the coastal path.
Its location, its natural and cultural heritage, its 15 km of coastal paths, its postcard landscapes make Arradon an attractive and touristic town. Here the beautiful season lasts almost all year round. In October, the Catagolfe brings together hundreds of light catamarans to race in the currents. Later, the mist rises over thousands of barnacle geese from Siberia. In the spring, we come back to fish for bass or morgate (cuttlefish).
